 About Karissa, By Jayson

  Karissa is a fun-loving, yet determined woman.  She has a lot of energy and she's a lot fun to be around.  She is a very loyal friend and she tries her best to please everyone she can.  She has been described to me by one person as the sweetest girl that person had ever met.

     I get to see a side of Karissa that perhaps no one else does.  She makes me laugh every single day with some of her comments.  She is always making up her own words to songs that she likes and they can often be very creative.  Another part I get to see is just how determined she can be.  When she gets a goal set in her mind she becomes relentless (sometimes bordering stubborn) in achieving that goal as soon as possible.

    One of the things I love most about Karissa is that she is always thinking of others.  When she sees someone in need, she searches for a way to help them.  There have been countless times that she'll bring up the name of somebody from work or a distant friend or relative who has some special need, so that we can think of some way to help.

   Karissa has been a wonderful wife throughout our time together, and I know that she'll be an even better mother.  She has a strong desire to not only be a mother, but a good mother, and knowing her determination, she'll achieve that goal.

 

 Fun Facts About Karissa, By Karissa

• I absolutely adore the Harry Potter books. The characters are just so lovable.
• In high school I was a swimmer and I played water polo
• I love dogs! The bigger the better. I always had a Labrador growing up, so naturally they're my very favorite.
• I'm strangely picky about my soda. I mainly only like soda from the fountain. I mean, if I'm at a party and they have 2-liter bottles I won't complain, but fountain soda is where it's at. My very favorite is fountain Vanilla Coke, which can be very tricky to find; and that's a good thing because it makes it so I don't drink soda very often. 
• I love Cafe Rio. I can't get enough of that house dressing. And, did I mention that they have fountain Vanilla Coke?
• I'm a sucker for homemade chocolate chip cookies. 
• I love water. I love to drink it, be in it, look at it, hear it, etc.
• Sea creatures are my favorite. I'm particularly fond of seahorses.
• Pizza is probably my favorite food. I'm suddenly beginning to realize that a ridiculous amount of these bullet points are about food.
• Disneyland is one of my favorite places to be. Seriously though, last time we went there I was more excited than any kid I saw. 
• Ok, I might as well add one more about food- I love cooking with fresh veggies. Next summer we're planning on having a garden in our backyard and I'm stoked.
