We've been married for almost five years now

Karissa really likes to celebrate the first day of each season. In this picture we're celebrating the first day of Summer with one of my favorite treats, snow cones.

Although you can't tell from the picture, Jayson loves to bake. This is his, "Do we really have to take a picture of this?" face.

This is what we call the "smoosh" face. It happens in pictures all of the time.

Fall is Karissa's favorite season, so we always take a drive up the canyons to see the changing leaves.

I love pumpkins with all of my heart. I have great dreams of having a gigantic pumpkin patch in our back yard one day! (We have a pretty large back yard)

We used to live in Cache Valley, UT, so every year we go up for the annual Pumpkin Walk, which is comprised of many different scenes like this one, mainly made of pumpkins and squash. It's one of my favorite traditions.

Ariel is my favorite Disney Princess. This is probably because I always wanted to be a mermaid when I was little.

At the Pumpkin Walk they also always have these.

We have started a new tradition of getting ornaments for Christmas that signify something that went on in the year. This past Christmas we got a heart because we got approved to adopt and a fox because we got Ruby and she reminds us of a little fox.
